Description

Despite hard wind, the old HEQ5 could keep up and this image emerged  after integrating 8 hours + of 300-second subs.

I did not plan for  a particular object but the peculiar nebula near the center certainly attracts attention! It's right next to LDN1320, but I would not call this a dark nebula. So it's more like an IFN part with a specific shape.

I see the head of a Salamander and a front leg and then the body stretching to the lower right with a back leg. Maybe this one deserves a name: Salamander Nebula

Polaris itself would be still half an image to the right.

The image suffers from a bad flat imho the large red area to the left of the salamander seems wrong.
